The FWEA Reuse Committee will continue its tradition of holding a one-day seminar early in 2013. This seminar is held every other year with topics reflecting the current drivers impacting water reclamation projects in Florida. The seminar will be held in the Orlando area and includes continuing education credits. Look for additional details in the fall as plans for the 2013 seminar are finalized.

2013 FWEA Water Reuse Seminar
in association with
WateReuse Florida & FDEP
This reuse seminar will educate the audience on the current technical and regulatory issues which are anticipated to impact water reuse projects in Florida. Such information is valuable to utilities, consultants and the regulatory community as wastewater reclamation is an important effluent and water management strategy in Florida. Furthermore, this workshop will bring together experts from other industries, such as stormwater, agriculture, solid waste, which will bring a different perspective to the Water Reuse industry. There will also be presentations about issues of Water Management District coordination, ongoing public education programs and an update on the NNC and Human Health criteria regulations. This is an opportunity for engineers and consultants and practitioners to share experiences, technology and science between these fields.
