Keynote Speaker: Senator Wilton Simpson
Senator Simpson has been serving the Florida Senate 18th District since 2012 (Hernando, most of Sumter, and parts of Pasco Counties). In 2014 the Senator sponsored SB 536, which required, “DEP, in coordination with stakeholders shall conduct a comprehensive study and submit a report on the expansion of the use of reclaimed water, stormwater, and excess surface water in the state.”  Senator Simpson resides in Trilby located in the northeast corner of Pasco County and not only heads an environmental company, but also owns and operates a family farm.
