Awards from WEF, FSAWWA and FWPCOA will be given out after the presentation from the keynote speaker. WEF awards to be given out include the Director At Large, Lifetime Achievement, Quarter Century Operators, and Member Association Awards to include the Burke Award, Lab Analyst Award, Hatfield Award and the Bedell Award. The FWEA presents a variety of awards that recognize achievement in the water environment profession. Awards are presented for service in education, innovative facility design, published papers, research, excellence in water quality improvement, outstanding personal service, distinctive advertising, service in the operations field, plant safety, and more.

The mission of the Awards Committee is to coordinate the nomination and selection of award winners for FWEA and WEF awards.

Mission Statement To coordinate the nomination and selection of award recipients for FWEA awards. To coordinate nominees for WEF awards. To oversee the total award program of FWEA and remain current on the WEF awards program. To make appropriate recommendations to the FWEA Board regarding the revision or elimination of existing awards and the introduction of any new awards which might benefit FWEA members.
