The FWEA Big Bend Chapter Steering
Committee meets every other month and is open to all FWEA Big Bend Chapter
Members. The purpose of the Steering Committee meetings is to provide a forum
for planning the activities and events for the Big Bend Chapter, which
typically include:
Bi-monthly dinner meetings for
sharing technical information in a professional networking
atmoshere
Annual technical seminar
providing Continuing Education Credit for Engineers and
Operators
Annual
Banquet
Outreach to local educational
institutions
The Steering
Committee also addresses regular Chapter business activities,
including:
Expanding
membership to a variety of disciplinies and
backgrounds
Review and
discuss Chapter finances
Election of
new Officers
Update and
maintenance of Chapter website
We encourage all members to
participate in the Steering Committee activities as well as the planned
