Biosolids Seminar

<<<<<<< HEAD

Every two years, the FWEA Biosolids Committee works in conjunction with the Seminars Committee to host a biosolids seminar. Recognized experts from EPA, FDEP, various universities, the consulting industry, and local utilities have presented at past seminars. Topics include regulatory updates, national perspectives on biosolids management, technology trends, land application and nutrient management planning, biosolids management strategies, and case studies.

In an effort to reduce travel costs for our attendees, the Biosolids Committee now offers these seminars regionally. In 2011, the first two regional seminars of the Charting the Future of Biosolids Management in Florida seminar series were held in south Florida and central Florida. A third seminar from the same series will be held in north Florida in 2012.

For more information on the 2011-2012 Charting the Future of Biosolids Management seminar series, please refer to the brochure from the last seminar of the series.

If you are interested in joining the Biosolids Committee, please contact a member of the committee.
